Mistea is pleased to introduce healthy indulgent fulfilling innovative meals for children.

Ms. Vinita has experience working as a chef in a renowned five star hotel and as a Montessori educationist for over two decades.

She has started this initiative as an answer to a dilemma most of the parents have – how to make Gen X eat healthy nutritional food without having to make it yourself.

Although everyone knows the harmful effects of junk & packed food but due to lack of time & options, working couples, nuclear families, children demands and peer pressure – we are still using it. Knowing the ill effects, can we still go on feeding these? No!

We are guilty of many errors and many faults but our worst crime will be neglecting the foundation of life!

Now is the time their bones are being formed, their blood is being made and their senses are being developed. Their healthy eating habits will contribute to good health, which in turn ignites happiness and prosperity.

Healthy – chemical free, colour free, using minimum refined products, cooked with techniques that ensure maximum nutrition remains intact and in health booster pots and pans.

Indulgent – with all the exposure that today’s generation has, they are no longer satisfied with just dal roti – they need different cuisines.

Fulfilling – balanced meal with scientifically determined quantity, nutrients and calories – all in all fulfilling but not overstuffing.

Innovative – your child will never tire of the variety and will always look forward to lunch time – we have more than 50 different types of meals. The preparation and presentation is such that it appeals to all the five senses – sight, smell, touch, taste and hearing. Even the mundane idli when made by adding beetroot/spinach becomes the Pink Panther/Popeye idli with Gun Powder chutney.

‘Under the Cloche‘

Under the Cloche was created to serve nutritious food without compromising on quality or hygiene. We pack in flavours along with the essential nutrients. 

We have set up a small counter during the lunch hour. The food will be prepared in our kitchen and will be packed in bio-degradable /eco-friendly packing materials. We have created a menu that can be enjoyed both by teachers and children. We have put together a menu that will be sumptuous and easy to eat- especially since kids generally want to finish eating fast and spend the remaining lunch hour playing on the ground.

Our menu consists of sandwiches, Kathi rolls, wraps, and parathas – the base of all would be wheat and multigrain. The filling would vary from paneer, tofu, and vegetables to chicken and eggs. All these would be within Rs 100/-. We also would be creating ‘one bowl or one box’ meals which will consist of Indian, Italian and fusion food flavours both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. This will be within Rs 150/-. We will not compromise on the quality of our ingredients.  We also have an option for parents to pre-book food with us for the next day.

 Going forward, that is, in times to come, we would also be serving healthy bakes, using raw, organic sugar and wheat or millets.

 Message from us to parents – Please sit back and enjoy your tea without having to worry about the morning packing of ‘Dabba’ – in case you don’t have time for it!
